Seems appropriate that the last flights on the last day that I owned N4318C were to fly to Fond du Lac WI and give Young Eagle Flights. It is always great to introduce potential future aviators to the joys of flying.
EAA Chapter had, I believe, about 85 youth that participated. I was very pleased to do my small part (with a two place airplane), and will definitely participate again.
EAA Chapter 572 as well as the CAP were incredibly gracious and appreciative of the pilots that gave flights. They seemed not to recognize that pilots were just having fun while everyone other volunteer actually did the work.
